Hass Scientific & Medical Supplies Ltd was incorporated in 1993. The company’s head quaters is situated along Argwings Kodhek Road at Hass Biotechnology Centre, a property wholly owned by Hass Scientific. It is an ultra modern centre with adequate facilities i.e. coldroom, delivery vehicles, modern workshop & conference/demonstration room that support the effective promotion of diagnostic products. As a market leader in IVD, Hass Scientific has been a partner of choice for major world leading manufacturers of Diagnostic Equipment and Reagents including, Biomerieux-France, Sysmex-Germany among others.
By establishing an elaborate distribution network, Hass Scientific has been able to grow its market share and hence that of the agencies it represents throughout the East Africa region of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and beyond (Rwanda, Burundi and Eastern Congo). To effectively manage the market needs for these regions, Hass Scientific has established full fledged and autonomous subsidiary companies in Kampala, Uganda and Kigali, Rwanda.
Hass Scientific & Medical Supplies Ltd. Uganda was incorporated in 1996, and is situated in Muyenga Tunk Hill Road Kampala. Since inception, the company has experienced speedy growth in market share and customer base hence, making it a leading Diagnostic distributor in the country.
Hass Scientific Rwanda S.a.r.l. was incorporated in 2003 to cover the Rwanda, Burundi and East Congo market. Operating in a market that is largely dominated by public sector procurement, Hass Scientific-Rwanda has played a key role in supporting and implementing donor funded projects in conjunction with Global Fund, Supply Chain Management System, World Bank, Clinton Foundation among others.
As a commitment towards building a long-term capacity to support our clients, Hass Scientific Group of Companies pursues a recruitment process of hiring highly skilled professionals and competent staff. Subsequently, through a policy of enhancing skills and knowledge amongst all technical staff members, training becomes a key priority so as to effectively provide perfect solutions and meet the needs and expectations of our market. The Company currently employs fifty members of staff in the local and regional offices. Hass Scientific Rwanda S.a.r.l. was incorporated in 2003 to cover the Rwanda, Burundi and East Congo market.
